The school offers a broad based curriculum designed to match the educational needs of today’s generation. The medium of instruction is English. We follow the text books printed by D.A.V. Education Board from class LKG to VIII and NCERT text books from class IX to XII. In order to make teaching learning process more enjoyable and meaningful we follow activity based teaching methods in the class room which-

Help each child to improve regardless of his potential and aptitude.
As per the latest educational reforms started by CBSE, the school follows the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) Scheme with a focus on all round development of the personality of the learner, with an objective to provide holistic profile  of the learner through regular assessment of scholastic and co-scholastic domains of development. Scholastic refers to the assessment in all subjects of curriculum and co-scholastic refers to the life skills, attitudes and values, interests and participation in the co-curricular activities. The scheme is being followed in all classes from I to X.

The academic session for classes I – X is divided into two terms. Semester – I from April to September and Semester – II from October to March. Each term comprises of two Formative Assessments (FA) followed by Summative Assessment (SA). Formative Assessments are based on Class Room activities/Practical work/Project work/Oral tests/MCQ tests/Role play/Group Discussion etc. Whereas Summative Assessments are term end exams conducted purely as pen-paper tests.

In Kindergarten section no formal examinations are conducted. Teaching is based on play-way method, activities are designed to develop the motor and cognitive skills of the learners. Due emphasis is laid on developing reading and communication skills.
